"Llanowar Elves" Giclée Print

When Anson set out to create an illustration for the Alpha set of Magic the Gathering, he had decided that whatever he came up with would not be your typical fantasy art elf.  He wanted his elf to be unexpected, something the viewer wouldn't have likely imagined on their own.  In this way, I believe his Llanowar Elves was a complete and inarguable success! Love it or hate it, there certainly was some push back from those who identified as Elves at the time. Anson recalls getting angry letters stating, "That's NOT what we look like!"

Image is printed on the paper size selected with an approximate one inch border on all sides. This print is on acid-free archival quality fine art paper using fade-resistant pigment based ink for longer life.  Print comes signed by the artist.
