"Minotaur 2" was created for Wizards of the Coast, by Anson Maddocks, to appear in a Magic the Gathering calendar. Minotaurs are considered by many to be Anson's signature fantasy creature, most notably for his Hurloon Minotaur, which served as the "face of Magic" during it's earliest years.
