This painting, titled "Vampiric Spirit" was created in 1997 for Wizards of the Coast to be used as the artwork for a collectible card game. It was published in Magic the Gathering's Portal Second Age Expansion in June 1998 and in Eighth Edition core set.
It's dimensions are approximately 9.5" x 8" inches.
Vampiric Spirit is painted on archival illustration board, using acrylic gouache paint. The concept sketch is also available for this piece separately.
